Diplomatic Forum Geneva
Independent dialogue on diplomacy, governance and strategic influence within the international ecosystem of Geneva. Co-founded by the Taxhells Strategic Research Initiative and ASDH (Agence Suisse pour le Développement et les Droits de l’Homme), ECOSOC consultative status.
Purpose & Philosophy
Diplomatic Forum Geneva explores how legitimacy, power and information circulate in a world without clear hierarchies. Traditional diplomacy remains vital, yet often opaque. The Forum opens that world to structured, accessible dialogue so that citizens, professionals and institutions can understand, participate and contribute.
“Diplomacy no longer belongs only to diplomats. The world of influence and negotiation now includes everyone who dares to understand it.”
Core Themes
- Data & Information Sovereignty — metadata governance, digital diplomacy, information asymmetry.
- Soft Power & Strategic Communication — narratives, symbols and mediated legitimacy.
- Diplomatic Law & Immunities — privileges under transparency, sanctions and accountability regimes.
- Parallel Diplomacy & Non-State Actors — corporate, philanthropic and academic influence.
- Recognition, Sanctions & Legitimacy — how economic and political recognition shape acceptance.
- Ethics & Mediation in Global Governance — neutrality, trust and negotiation conduct.
