Editorial Standards

  1. Originality & Rights. You own the content and hold rights to all included materials (text, images, charts). No plagiarism or derivative “spin.”
  2. Accuracy. Use primary sources wherever possible (laws, regulations, official data, filings). Provide citations inline or at the end under “Sources.”
  3. Clarity. Lead with the thesis; one idea per paragraph; avoid buzzwords. Explain acronyms on first use.
  4. Neutrality vs Advocacy. Analysis stays evidence-led. Opinions are clearly labeled as Opinion and disclose assumptions.
  5. Disclosure. Declare material connections, sponsorships, or conflicts of interest at the end under “Disclosures.”
  6. Compliance. No unlawful content, libel, defamation, or privacy violations. Respect embargoes and court orders.
  7. Reader Value. Provide actionable insights, frameworks, or checklists that a professional can apply.

Structure & Formatting

  • Title: ≤ 80 characters, specific, no clickbait.
  • Deck/Subtitle: 1–2 lines clarifying the promise.
  • Introduction: define the problem and why it matters.
  • Body: use H2/H3 to segment logic; short paragraphs; tables where appropriate.
  • Conclusion: key takeaways and limits of the analysis.
  • Author Byline: name, role, and one-line credential.
  • Bio: ≤ 60 words. One neutral external reference allowed in the bio (no sales pitch).

Language: English preferred. French or Spanish accepted if clear and professional. Maintain consistent regional spelling.

Sources, Data & Citations

  • Cite primary materials when available (laws, regulations, official releases, datasets).
  • For data points and quotes, include a citation note (institution, publication date, identifier).
  • Place a short “Sources” list at the end. Use stable identifiers where possible.

Images, Charts & Media

  • You are responsible for usage rights. Provide credit lines for non-original media.
  • Preferred formats: PNG/JPG (images), SVG (simple charts), PDF (appendices).
  • Provide concise alt text (≤ 125 chars) describing information, not style.

AI, Ghostwriting & Verification

  • We accept drafting support tools for grammar or structure. The ideas, analysis and responsibility must be yours.
  • Disclose if AI tools significantly assisted research or drafting. You remain liable for accuracy and rights.
  • We may run originality checks and ask for sources, notes, or datasets to verify claims.

Editorial Review & Timeline

  • Initial screening: typically within 5 business days.
  • Editing: we may request revisions for clarity, accuracy or compliance.
  • Scheduling: publication date depends on our editorial calendar.
